The Jaguar E-Type has been time and again deemed as the most beautiful car in the history of all automobiles. Malcolm Sayer’s ingenious design is reminiscent of his background in aircraft engineering and is well reflected in the E-Type’s then-revolutionary body design. Don’t let its petiteness fool you though; the E-Type carries a V-12 which generates 261 horsepower and can pull you to 60 mph in a mere 7.1 seconds.

Designed as a predecessor of the highly successful D-Type racecar, known for its enormous success in the 24 Hours of Le Mans where the car won 3 consecutive years, the E-Type carried some of its genes into its front subframe and body panels, resulting in sharp and precise handling. The E-Type remains one of the best designed and engineered cars in the world. The car is easily one of the most iconic British pieces of automotive history.
